Karen and Jason are married!!!

Wedding days are my absolute favourite. Karen and Jason's wedding is a prime example of why I love them so much. It's because you can feel the love, the excitement and the amazing energy.

Karen was radiant on her wedding day. Having fun with her bridesmaids and goofing around with me as I took her photos. She was so excited to be getting married to the love of her life.

Jason, on the other hand, was so nervous! He is the quiet one in the couple, and Karen is the one that can bring him out.

As Karen walked down the aisle on her father's arm, Jason started to tear up, that made Karen cry. You could feel the passion in that little room. When Jason finally had Karen, you could see he felt complete.

I loved their wedding. I loved their chemistry. I love this couple.

Ashley Looking Sexy!

This is an idea I really hope catches on. It's brilliant, if you ask me.

My Bride Ashley is marrying her mechanic fiancee in October, and what better gift to give a mechanic than a sexy calendar. So, Ashley thought she should be the calendar hanging in his shop! Love it! The night before their wedding Shawn will open this sweet present!

So, we spent the day with the amazing Krystie Ann http://krystieann.com who did her hair and make-up and did some really cool, sexy shots around my house. I couldn't believe how quiet Ashley turned into Sex Kitten Ashley. It made for a really fun day with my head spinning with creative ideas.

The Bride and Me

I just finished editing the photos from Karen and Jason's amazing Gibson Centre wedding and I came across a photo I completely forgot about! I had to share it becuase I love that the Matron of Honour asked if she could take a photo of me and the Bride.

Karen is one of those Brides....no, one of those people, you instantly like. She's fun and bubbly....my kind of girl. And she was radiant with love, beauty and fun and happiness on her wedding day.

So, before I post photos from her wedding, here's one me and the gorgeous bride.

John Linkert Salon

I've raved about John Linkert for years....to everyone! Literally! John is one of the most talented hairstylists/make-up artists out there and I was so happy when he took the leap and went out on his own.

John is in the process of launching his new website johnlinkert.com. When it's up and running I'll make sure I post a link to his site. You HAVE to see his work...and better yet, experience it yourself. He is seriously a genius.

Melanie + Dale = Baby!

There is nothing more exciting than waiting for your baby to arrive. There's the anxiety, the thrill, the wonder of the unknown.

And then there is your body that suddenly belongs to someone else. While Melanie may have a little person growing in her belly....she is certainly blessed with still being beautiful while being pregnant ( a luxury I definitely didn't have).

Melanie and Dale met me one foggy morning at Wasaga Beach to show off her gorgeous baby bump in the sand and the water. Melanie had absolutely no hestitations and even took her top off for a beautiful photo in the water. I loved it! Be proud of what your body is doing!

Melanie and Dale are expecting their first bundle of joy in August and have left the gender as a surprise. I can't wait to meet this little person!

Guys, you are going to love every moment of being parents. Even the puking and getting peed on isn't so bad!

Theresa and Brad in love!

I've said it before. I'll say it again. I love people in love. I love how couples interact with each other when they're in love. I love the looks, the gazes, the laughs. I love it all.

When I met with Theresa and Brad last week to shoot their engagement photos, I could feel that this couple was more than just in love....they actually like each other. I mean, they like hanging around each other, and they act like they're really good friends. Call me crazy, but I think that's one of the secrets to a long and happy life together. You can love each other, but do you really LIKE each other? Do you like this person enough to spend your old days together? I think Brad and Theresa will.

How did I see this? They laughed a lot. They helped each other through wheat fields, hay bales...you name it. They joked a lot too....but when I asked them to kiss.....you could feel it was genuine. I love that!

We took to the fields of Theresa's parents' farm ( the same place they are getting married) and captured some fantastic moments of this beautiful couple. I am so super excited about their wedding next weekend!!
