Alexia Teaser

She is beautiful. Gorgeous. Alexia is this adorable little four month old who steals your heart with one smile. Crazy dark hair, creamy skin and amazing blue eyes the colour of sapphires. Her parents are lucky!

Here are some of the best photos from the photo marathon. Everyone was so great and I so much fun in the cold weather, with a gigantic doggy egg hunt going on right beside us.

We're definitely doing this again...when it's warmer!


Here's some of my favourites from Ayla's session. She comes from a family of performers and creative people. Her Dad is a radio announcer, Mom is a TV host and Production Assistant and her brother is off directing amazing movies! You'll definitely see Ayla again.

Kelly is repeat customer and I'm so glad she is! Not only is she beautiful, but she's a photographer's dream! She has flawless skin. Kelly wanted pictures of her and her adorable pooch Lexie. Lexie was too excited with all the other dogs around, but we grabbed her attention just long enough to catch some great shots. I hope to see Kelly and Lexie again on my blog!

Little Alex is just over a year old and he's adorable! He wouldn't stop smiling...unless you took his ball away. His mother Jen is old high school friend of mine and it was so great to see her as a mother. She loves little guy so much and it was so much fun shooting them!

Dakota and Nolan were both energetic boys who surprised me! For two boys who are 10 and 8 they were well behaved and did everything I asked of them. The only thing is, Nolan says he doesn't like to smile....but I tricked him into smiling a few times.

These boys are wonderful, and I'm sure they're going to grow up to be wonderful, sweet men.

Sweet Ayla Teaser

You're gonna love her! Ayla was my third session during the photo marathon, and she was amazing! This little eight year old was game for anything. She's such a little model.

Romeo and his Five Beautiful Ladies

You could say Romeo Pilon is the luckiest man alive. Surrounded by lots of beautiful women! His wife Lucy and four daughters Stephanie, Jacinthe, Julie and Celeste.

Stephanie has been my best friend for a decade. That's right, we're officially growing old together. She jumped at the chance to take part in the photo marathon, and like the good friend she is, helped support me in my photography.

It's my Birthday!

Yes, I'm pretty much shameless when it comes to my birthday. I was brought up to believe that your birthday is all about you. It's the only day throughout the year that is totally, completely yours. I threw big parties... had some amazing parties actually. I threw them every year. But this year is different. I'm 29 now, and something told me it's getting tacky to throw yourself a party!

Lucky for me, I have amazing friends and family who took me out for dinner on Saturday where we stuffed ourselves so full of food we were waddling out of the restaurant. Then a beautiful cake at my Aunt and Uncle's house. Yum....I can still taste it.

Even though this is a strange birthday for me....the last one I'll have in my 20's....and the fact that it's the first birthday ever where I couldn't drink because of the baby, I loved it.

Here's a picture of me at my birthday party a few years ago. See? I really do think today is all about me!

These girls were so much fun and I wish I had a whole hour to shoot with them. They fun and all of them are gorgeous! Yes, including Nelson. He's adorable.

Five Fabulous Friends Teaser

I love it when I get a call from just a group of friends who want photos taken together. I think it's so amazing that a group of girls can be so close even as we age. That was Krissy and her friends who signed up for the photo marathon. I only wish I had more time with these girls.

These five girls are tighter than the Sex and City Crew....and hotter than the Hills Girls.

More Ellie!!!

I'm an editing Mad Woman! I'm trying to get all the images from the photo marathon done, but I couldn't abandon my little Ellie. I just had to finish her photos before she leaves for Vancouver next week.

I'm so in love with these photos. I love Ellie's little facial expressions, the twinkle in her eye, and how happy Sarah looks with her little daughter. I love it!

So, enjoy some more of my favourite pics from the session....and I'll start editing more photos. phew, it's a lot of work....but I love it!

Ryan Jeffries....the model.

Look at his face....look at it real closely. Remember it. He's going to be big some day.

A few months ago my cousin Ryan called me up and said he was doing a bit of modelling and asked if I could take some headshots of him. Knowing Ryan my entire life, I wasn't surprised that he would be going into modelling and commercial acting. He's always been very handsome, outgoing and has this way of attracting attention. He was a world-class horseman and is still doing work with horses, but I see him in catalogues, on tv, you name it.

This weekend Ryan was my first client for the photo marathon. We were blessed with amazing early morning sunshine. Here are a few shots from the shoot: (keep in mind, this is the first time I've ever attempted to do headshots!)

I fell in love with this white wall with all the paint peeling off of it. You'll see that I used it a lot during the rest of the shoots.

We had to get a few shots of Ryan and his girlfriend Sam. She's also doing a bit of modelling....can you tell? She's rocking the poses! They make a really cute couple!

Lots more to come. We had 10 sessions on Friday. Whew! That's a lot of photos! I'm so excited to share them with you.

Three spots left

For the past few days it's been snowing....hard. We have at least 2 feet of snow and I'm not liking it.

However, the Weather Gods on TV have promised that today is the last day of this Craptastic weather and Spring will return by tomorrow. Thank you!!

So, Friday is supposed to be sunny with a high of 10 degrees, so don't worry, we're still on for Friday. If those Weather Gods are wrong, we'll have a raindate: Sunday, April 19.

There are three spots left:

Each session is $45, plus an extra $10 for each additional person. Dogs and other pets are welcome too!

Ellie returns! TEASER

She's back! Remember Ellie? Now she's all grown up and is 6 months old....and still cuter than ever!

Sarah and Ellie are in town for a little while planning a fabulous wedding and I was able to snap a few shots. Here's a little teaser! Many more to come!
