Stacie and Chris are engaged!

I've known Stacie and Chris for about three or four years now, and every time I see them laugh my butt off.  They are goofy, loving, fun, sarcastic and very, very warm people.

Stacie found me on facebook of all places and traveled from Lindsay to Barrie to have me photograph her and her new boyfriend, Chris.  I had a blast and somehow knew this boyfriend was a keeper.  Now, years later we are shooting their engagement photos in preparation of their 2014 wedding!

We went to the gorgeous Guildwood Park in Scarborough and spent two afternoons running through the ruins and monuments and the many leaves that fell in the area. I could have stayed there forever.

I honestly can't wait for this amazing couple to get married.  Now that I've been able to get to know them and their family, it's really special for me to be able to capture their day for them.

Enjoy!

Jacqui and Lee are Married!

I can't express how much I loved the wedding of Jacqui and Lee.  I loved how both families were such a big part of their lives.  How all of the wedding guests got into the fun trying to make the Bride and Groom kiss.  Oh, if you could only be there!  And I just love Jacqui and Lee together.

Jacqui and Lee are the most down to Earth, loving couple.  The way they feel about each other radiates, and you just feel it!  Not to mention they are so much fun.

We spent the afternoon running around downtown Barrie.  This is one of my favourite things to do with a wedding party, and these guys were the best!  They were not shy to do fun poses in the middle of the five points.  They were game for everything!

I shot so much at this wedding, because there was so much to capture.  Unfortunately I can't show them all, so enjoy the few I am adding here.   I hope you can tell just how special these two are.

And this next shot was the last of the night, and one of my favourites.

Courtney and Mark are Married!

Courtney and Mark's day was truly blessed.  The sun was shining, but it wasn't scorching hot.  The bride was gorgeous, the groom was handsome, the families were proud and shedding tears of joy.  This was the quintessential wedding where two gorgeous people meet, fall in love, and the whole world falls in love with them.  It's the stuff Disney movies are made of....and I LOVE it.

The reception and photos took place at the Credit Valley Golf and Country Club in Mississauga, and I felt like I had died and gone to photographer's Heaven.  It was gorgeous, and I could have shot there all day.  It was the perfect recipe!  Gorgeous bride and groom, gorgeous golf course.

My favourite part of their big day was how Courtney kept saying, "this is really happening."  She had a few moments where she cried a little, and because she said she was "marrying the man of my dreams."  Amazing.  I've never heard a bride say that before. I knew it was true.  They are perfect together, and so in sync.  Made forever.

Courtney and Mark are truly going to live happily ever after.  Enjoy!

Cake Smash! Aiden turns one

Cake Smash photo shoots are hands down one of my favourite shoots to do.  There's nothing more funny, cute, delicious or adorable than seeing a little guy have his or her first taste of sugar, and then smash the cake into little mushy bits all over a white backdrop.  I swoon!

Aidan did just that with his John Deere Tractor cake.  His parents, Ashley and Shawn have been in front of my lens many times, and I love that they asked me to capture this adorable guy's first birthday shots!

A huge thank you to Anke at Uncaked for making the amazing cake.  She always does my cake smash cakes and she's AMAZING!

Enjoy!

Karinna Trashed the Dress!

For as long as I've known Karinna she has always talked about trashing her dress after she got married.  I'm so honoured and excited that she chose ME to photograph it!

You couldn't have a better bride to do this with, because she has such a fun personality and was game for everything!  We jumped in the lake, played in a playground, and ended with a water fight at a car wash with her husband.  I think he liked that part the best!  Pure perfection.  I think our stomachs hurt from laughing so hard.

Enjoy the photos!

Sneak Peek!!

I couldn't resist showing you a quick sneak peek at Karinna and Curtis' Trash the Dress session from a few weeks ago.

We started at Barrie's waterfront and got them good and sandy, and then off to a car wash where they were able spray away all the dirt, and have a little fun doing it.

There's so many more to show, but I just loved this one. These two are always having fun together, and this totally captured that.

Can't wait to show you more!

Rachael and Terry are Married!

It was the perfect day.  It was sunny, bright, hot, and steamy.  My favourite kind of day.  But what made this day perfect was that Rachael and Terry were finally getting married.

The bride truly took my breath away when I saw her all glammed up by the amazing Krystie Ann who did her hair and make up.  She was the definition of a bride.  A soft glow, a calmness about her.  You knew she was just ready.

Terry was the same way when I saw him.  Not at all nervous, just ready.  I think that's when you know a couple is truly ready to get married.

The ceremony was at the gorgeous Collier Street United Church and the reception was at one my favourites:  The MacLaren Art Centre.  The bridal party was blast too!  We took over downtown Barrie and laughed way too hard.  A model party!

Enjoy the shots of Rachael and Terry, as I really had a blast with these two and their incredible friends.

I LOVE attitude shots, and these guys really brought it!

Samantha and Ben are Married!

It was a first me at Belcroft Estates and everything took my breath away.  The setting, the attention to detail, the fact that we could shoot ANYWHERE, the staff who were amazing!  And most importantly, how it completely suited Ben and Sam.

This amazing couple had a country-themed wedding complete with the Bride in cowboy boots.  Oh, but she changed afterward into her cleats to match the baseball-themed reception.  Totally them!

Sam is the most down to Earth Bride you could ever ask for.  She is a huge athlete, playing ball a few times a week.  She loves baseball, but not as much as she loves Ben.

You hear me say all the time how I love love, and this wedding oozed it!  Ben was brought to tears as he saw Sam for the first time, and he wasted no time calling her his wife.  I loved it!

Enjoy the photos from Belcroft, a place I will truly recommend and I hope I get the chance to go back.

Ben and Sam, I wish for you the happiest marriage because you two are amazing!
