Becky and Hunter's vintage wedding

I am so, so, so excited to share these photos from Becky and Hunter's wedding. I love this wedding so much because it's so unique. Becky infused so much vintage into her big day complete with Lavender bouquets she made her self, the men wore grey vests (awesome!) and the entire day was spent at a heritage museum in Milton. It. was. gorgeous. I want to shoot there every day!
I had with me my amazing second shooter Adrionna who took breathtaking photos with me all day. Becky looked stunning, Hunter looked dashing and the bridal party was so fun! The day was filled with so much laughter and fun and then emotion and love. We couldn't stop raving about the day.
I love the many details of the wedding, all carefully planned out by the bride and groom who maybe should think about switching careers and going into the wedding planning business, because they are amazing at it.
I want to show you all the photos from the day because I'm so in love with every detail of the day.
Enjoy the photos from one of the best weddings with one of the best couples around.

Gorgeous Baby Olivia

Before Olivia was even born, I knew she was going to be absolutely gorgeous. I mean, her parents are stunning! But when I finally got to meet her, I was blown away! She is absolutely beautiful with her full head of black curls and the most amazing blue eyes. I couldn't wait to get her in tutus from http://www.facebook.com/#!/TutuSweet1 and Georgia Blooms head pieces.
Enjoy these photos from Baby Olivia's shoot. So many more posts to come now that I finally have time! Sorry for being the worst blogger ever!

Check out this website!

I have to admit, when I was asked to take photos for the amazing crew at D. Freer and Associates Physiotherapy in Barrie I was pumped. I had a ton of ideas. Then the crash happened...I had to do it the way the web designer wanted it. It was so tough to try to interpret someone else's vision for portraits....and even though I was resistant at first, now that I see the finished product I'm so happy the designer had this in mind.

Moral of the story: always listen to the person in charge!

Check out the photos I did for the website...and hey, book an appointment. These are amazing people. The two days I spent with the crew here were so fun, and they were so welcoming.

Angela and Matt E-session

This was one of the most fun shoots I have ever been on. Matt and Ange are a couple that never stops laughing. And for Matt, he never stopped looking at Ange or touching her. Honestly, I don't know how many times I had to tell him to look at the camera, not and Ange. It is so amazing to see a couple so in love...and a woman so worshipped!
Matt and Ange live in Tottenham, and it's famous for it's antique steam train. Since Matt works at CN Rail, we had to do a shoot devoted to his love of trains, plus it's romanticism (yes, I watch too many movies based on the 40's like Pearl Harbour).
Matt and Ange had their wedding a few weeks ago, and I can't wait to show you those photos too.
Enjoy!

Tutu Sweet!

It was undoubtedly the most amazing email I have ever received. After a day of stress, near tears, and feeling uncertain about my future, I opened my email at the end of the day and cried. I honestly cried and thanked the Heavens that this email came through when it did...when I needed it the most.
Stephanie is a mom of twin girls, and through the words written in this email I could sense she was a kind, soft soul. She told me how much she liked my work and would be willing to give me a tutu she made from hand if I just mentioned her business in a featured shoot. Well, after lifting my spirits and stroking my ego the way she had I couldn't just do that. I had to do more! So, after a few exchanges of emails, we set a date and her two girls Myah and Molly and my little model Ellie.
I totally recommend Stephanie's work. She has a wide assortment of tutus and styles, and she knows how they should fit on a little girl...because she has two of her own.
Special thanks to Dana from http://pictureperfectphotography-alliston.blogspot.com/ (the BEST children's photographer ever!) who was awesome and lent us the wicker chair!! Man, was this shoot a love fest, or what? I love it!
Stephanie, thank you for inspiring me and for being my "sign" when I asked for one. You are the best.
I love Mom-preneurs! Enjoy! And please check out Tutu Sweet. http://www.facebook.com/#!/TutuSweet1

Pat and Paul are Married!

On the day Patricia and Paul were married it was probably the most relaxed I've ever been as a wedding photographer, and they were without a doubt the most relaxed couple I've ever seen get married. They were radiating with happiness and immediately made me feel like I was part of their small, intimate party and not like an outsider.
They laughed, never stopped smiling and easily mingled with their guests as they ate oysters and shrimp and drank sangria before the ceremony.
Patricia and Paul found each other later in life, and over the past few years their love bloomed. They are best friends, soulmates, they are madly in love. You can see that even when they are not standing right next to each other. The thing I think makes them such a strong couple is their strong sense of family. With four beautiful daughters and three toddler grandsons, they are one big happy family.
I am so honoured to be a part of their day and witness the love between these two. Hope you enjoy these shots!

Brittany and Bill Engaged!

They are enigmas. That's the best word can I use to describe them. They are both soft and sweet, full of love and laughter. But they are artistic, expressive and ready for fun.

Bill is forever the protector of Brittany. The beautiful, soft spoken, doe-eyed girl. Bill is kind, and never takes his eyes off his bride. Brittany is very girly in a way you just want to hug her! While they are so incredibly in love, you never feel like the outsider when you're around them.
My first time meeting this amazing couple from Toronto was for their engagement session in Victoria Harbour. I met most of their family that day as there was a big party for them too. They never seemed stressed, they just went with the flow....and I loved that!
Their Maid of Honour Erin came for support...and I immediately felt like I was their friend. No awkwardness at all. The best part for me is when a couple is at ease and is not afraid to show their love to all. Even to the photographer they just met.
I hope you enjoy these photos. I can't help but smile every time I look at them.
