We are just days away until our little baby is due. That's scary! I know, we've been looking forward to this for over 9 months, but the fact that it's actually going to happen is kinda freaking me out...in a good way!
I've had the past three weeks off from my regular day job, and while the first two were both relaxing and productive, this past week has been excrutiating! I'm so bored! I'm not used to being so idle and watching tv all the time. I seriously could recite TLC's entire program schedule!
But while I'm sitting, waiting, wishing (cue Jack Johnson), I'm also thinking about photography. I can't wait to get back into it! But I have to take some time off. But when I'm back I'll snapping away with a baby by my side ( and hopefully with more energy than I've had in the past two months!).
So, I wanted to thank everyone for their support, kind words and encouragement....not only with photography, but with the baby too. This is the scariest thing I've ever done, but also the one thing I've been most excited about too. I promise, once this little guy and I are back on our feet, we're ready to start shooting again!
Now, I'm back to sitting on the couch, hoping this little one comes on time.....keep your fingers crossed!
I hate blank posts, so here's a shot from our recent maternity shoot with the amazing Stephan from http://enlightenedimages.ca

The Gillespie Family
I've met a lot of really good babies in my life. But little Victoria has to one of the best. She has such a happy disposition and never cried or fussed once during our recent photo shoot. This is rare in my books.
This little model in training gave me so many great shots....but she has this funny thing she does. She'll flash me a killer smile, but once I'm ready to push the shutter button she looks away! She was adorable.
Her parents are very lucky, and I must say, this is one beautiful family!
I can't wait to see Victoria again when she's older, because if she's this cute at 7 months, she's going to be a knockout like her mom when she's older!

Krista and Karinna Trashed their dresses
Krista is probably the happiest newlywed I've ever met! A few weeks ago she married her best friend. Literally. Ryan and Krista were best friends in High School, but their relationship didn't turn into a romance until three years ago. Now, she's the happiest girl in the world.
She wanted to trash her dress as an opportunity to get more photos taken of her in her dress and a chance to wear her beautiful dress again. Krista rocked this shoot! She was full of life, glowing with happiness and was so into the shoot. I love these photos of her.
Karinna is my good friend, and a good friend of Krista's too. She came along for support for Krista and to trash a bridesmaid's dress she had for a recent wedding that she didn't end up wearing. I love these shots! Karinna definitely has a little model inside her waiting to come out.
We started on Dunlop Street in Barrie for some glam shots then to the waterfront to get dirty in the sand....and then wound up in the fountain at City Hall. We were terrified that security was going to come and kick us out! Love it!
Ladies, this was so much fun!! Thanks for the great day!
