More of the Groens!

The Groens are the type of family you can spend an entire day with and it only feels like an hour. Time flies because you're having way too much fun!

A couple of weeks ago they asked me take their family photos at the gorgeous farm just outside Alliston. Go figure....it rained! They didn't let it get them down! They all had so many ideas for their pictures and I loved it!

I hope I get to take some more photos of these guys, because I love their energy and I love taking their photos!

Here are some of my favourites from the shoot!

Grandpa and his girls. I love how Enya is pulling on Kiara's face!

Groen Family Teasers

Whenever I get together with the Groen family from Alliston I leave the shoot with a sore stomach. They are hilarious, fun-loving and so enthusiastic that I spend the entire time laughing.

They are such a wonderful family who open their arms to you the minute you meet them.

My long time friend Kim married Jamie Groen last October in a beautiful ceremony and the photos after the ceremony are ones to remember! They were so much fun! I also had the chance to photograph little Enya when she was only four months old....and now she's walking!

A couple of weeks ago I had the chance to photograph the entire clan again, and in true Groen style, it was a blast. Despite the downpouring of rain we managed to get the shoot off the ground.

Here are some of my favs from the shoot....however, there are a lot more! Enjoy.

Krista -- Anytime

The world really is small. Turns out Krista and I know a lot of the same people, but we never met. We know each other now, and I'm glad we do. Krista is a really great person who's fun, down to Earth and just plain genuine.

Krista, a busy mom who's also about to get married, contacted me through Facebook commenting on my photography. She just happened to be my 300th group member! Because of that, I offered her a free photo shoot. Instead of using it for a family photo, Krista did something I absolutely LOVE!! She took it for herself, telling me she's never had photos taken of just her.

Well, it's about time! And I'm so glad I could be the person to give Krista some great shots of just her. Enjoy!

Krista has these amazing tattoos on her leg of butterflies. I love it!

We did allow a couple of shots of Krista and her fiancee Ryan. He was so supportive through the shoot, coaching her on and saying she did great! These two are going to have a wonderful marriage.

Stephanie and Sally

I can't even begin to tell you how incredibly proud I am of one of my best friends in the whole world. You know that song by Ne-Yo, Miss Independent? That's Steph totally!

At the age of 30 Steph has accomplished so many things on her own that most people don't in a lifetime. She has a condo she bought on her own. She has a great job. And now she has a car.

Steph may have taken the long way around, but she did it the smart way. Yesterday she finally got her licence.....and bought a car! I have never seen this girl so happy, and I am so happy to see her behind the wheel of her very first car....and I think she's happy not to be taking the bus anymore!

Congratulations Stephanie! You are amazing in my eyes.

Here are the very first photos of Steph and her new car named Sally the Echo.
